Payments
You MUST include all the required documents before 4:00 p.m. to avoid having your payment refunded. Payments made without needed paperwork will be refunded at 4:00 p.m.
Online certified credit card payments paid after 4:00 p.m. will be processed the following business day.
The following steps are listed below to make a payment. If you have any questions, please email publicworks@kaufmancounty.net prior to making any payments.
- Make sure the Bureau Confirmation shows Kaufman County
- Enter payment amount due
- Enter reference number
- Enter credit card information
- Process payment
- Email publicworks@kaufmancounty.net the Certified Payment ID. This is obtained after your payment is processed.
Address Payments
An Address Application is required for a new address. Submit a completed application and required forms (deed and survey) or bring into our Development Services office.

- Monday through Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm (Except for County Approved Holidays).
- Note: Offices are closed for lunch from 12 p.m. until 1 p.m., Monday through Friday. A drop box is provided near the front door.
Culvert Payments
A Culvert Application is required for the installation of driveways and culverts within the County Right-of-Way, as stated in the Kaufman County Subdivision and Land Regulations; Section 11.03.
