Why eRecord?
eRecording ensures efficiency. Your record is made available online quickly and allows the submitter to immediately forward the recorded document to their client. This is also a safer transmittal of documents to the County Clerk's office. The submitter of the document knows exactly when the document has been submitted with the County Clerk and is filed. If there is any problem with a document, the Clerk's office will return the document to the submitter electronically with a specific reason as to why the document cannot be filed. This saves time and a trip to the County Clerk's office!
